CebuCON, the annual building and construction expo in the southern Philippines, opened its doors to over 1200 trade professionals last June 1, 2023. During the opening ceremony, Lilibeth Abais, the Managing Director of CebuCON, delivered a warm welcome message to the audience. Arch. Buck Sia, the District Director for Area C-1 of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), shared insights into the architectural landscape of Cebu. He highlighted the UAP’s thrust to design high-quality spaces that meet the evolving needs of the community. With a membership of 5,000 professionals in Cebu alone, the UAP plays a vital role in shaping the architectural industry in the region.

CebuCON featured a wide array of exhibitors, ranging from construction equipment manufacturers and suppliers to architectural firms and sustainable technology providers. The expo provided an avenue for these companies to showcase their latest products, services, and innovative design and construction solutions to the challenges faced by the industry.
